College Faculty (Instructor of History and Global Studies)
The Department of History and Global Studies at Abilene Christian University (ACU) invites applicants for a College Faculty (full-time instructor) position in U.S. history with specialization in Texas history, history/social studies education, or public history. MA in history required, PhD desirable. Rank and salary based on level of education and experience. Position to begin in January 2023.
Candidates with experience teaching in public secondary schools or working in museums or other public history spaces are especially welcome. The successful candidate will promote ACU’s mission through innovative and engaging pedagogy and mentoring of undergraduates. Our department serves majors in history, public history, social studies and history education, and global studies. ACU is associated with the churches of Christ.
