The Biennial Meeting of the Conference on Faith & History
Protest, Resistance, and Transformation: Agents of Change Past and Present
Baylor University
Waco, TX
20-21 October 2021
The Fall 2021 Biennial Meeting of the Conference on Faith and History Undergraduate Student Conference will take place at Baylor University on October 20-21, 2021. The regular CFH will follow from October 21-23, and undergraduate students are encouraged to stay for the entire event.
Student papers on any subject are encouraged. We understand that students will be submitting proposals from the papers they have written for classes in the last year, spanning a wide range of topics. The theme of the 2021 meeting focuses particularly on activism seeking to improve communities. It will emphasize the histories of those who have worked to expand the boundaries of justice and freedom, as well as how historians can love our neighbors.
Please submit a proposal that includes your name and home institution, paper title, a 250-word overview of the paper and, if possible, contact information for the faculty member who guided your research.
Individual paper and/or complete session proposals (3-4 papers on a related topic) should be emailed to the undergraduate conference organizers:
Brian Franklin brfranklin@smu.edu
Andrea Turpin andrea_turpin@baylor.edu
DEADLINE: 15 June 2021
