John Brown University seeks a full-time faculty member in the History department with expertise in U.S. History. Preferred applicants will have a secondary teaching field in African, Asian, European, or Latin American History. The ideal candidate will bring a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and the integration of Christian faith and learning, and should be available to begin by July 1, 2024. Responsibilities could also include, but are not limited to, undergraduate advising; university committee work; teaching courses in the History major and in the core curriculum, namely Integrated Humanities 1 and 2; and coordinating concurrent programs with area high schools.
